Hello folks. Have any of you heard of this new technoligy called DVB Broadcasting? It is also known as Free To Air TV. However, there radio stations on this as well. This is a modern version of your old C-band dish. This is a 24 inch dish, and you move it from side, to side. There are hunderds of channels on it. However, you can not get any major networks such as Fox News, MTV, CNN, and many others. This technoligy is doing very well in Eurip. But I don't think it will do well in the states. First, you by the receiver for $299. But there is no actavtion fee, or anything like that. There is not even a monthly fee. In fact, from what I am told the technoligy won't alow it. Secend after stating the folowing, I don't think the major netwroks are going to invest in this. I am sure they make a good amount of money by the Cable, and satelllte providers. Second, I don't know if you can block channels on it. But it would be a fun peac of technoligy to play around with. What do you all think? I will talk to you later.
That does sound cool, but let's face it, without my daily supply of VH1 and Commedy Central, I'm nothing. lol
